[US East] Facepunch Primitive 1
40.160.19.53:28016NAmonthlyPrimitive Rust servers, indexed
This page lists every public Rust server currently running the Primitive game mode, filed under Play style. The table is live: player counts and wipe dates are refreshed every five minutes. A server enters the index because it is online, not because anyone recommends it. Use the filters to narrow by region, group limit or wipe schedule, or read on for what the Primitive tag means.

64.40.8.62:28020NAbiweeklyPrimitive is a small subject. The entries here are numbered in the dozens at most, and the population is unevenly spread: a few servers hold most of the players while many sit idle. See the Players column before you commit. Region matters more than usual, because a quiet server with a 200 ms ping helps nobody; start with the one nearest you. Most listings state no gather rate and run at 1x. Wipe schedules are mixed: some follow the monthly force wipe, others publish their own cadence, and a short reset cycle appears on a few. Where the next wipe is an estimate, the column marks it. Questions
4 enquiries on file, answered by the catalogue.
Enquiry 01How do I know a server is really running Primitive?
Check its entry here and read the settings rows rather than trusting the name alone. A genuine Primitive server uses Facepunch's own game mode, which takes firearms out of the loot and crafting tables. A server calling itself primitive without that mode, or one that still spawns guns, is not the same thing. The index records what each server reports about itself.
Enquiry 02What weapons are left on a Primitive server?
With guns removed, combat comes down to bows, crossbows, spears and other melee weapons. Building, farming and raiding carry on as normal. That makes early-game fights last longer and puts more weight on positioning and aim than on firepower.
Enquiry 03How busy are the Primitive servers listed here?
It is one of the smaller categories in the index, and the crowd is concentrated on a handful of entries. Many rows show low or zero players even though the server is online. Sorting by Rank rather than Players gives a better view of which servers keep a regular population through the week.
Enquiry 04Do these servers wipe on the standard monthly cycle?
Some do, and some do not. A share of the entries with enough wipe history reset only at the monthly force wipe, while others publish their own schedule or wipe irregularly. Check the Last wipe and Next wipe columns on each entry, and treat a marked estimate as an estimate rather than a promise.
Sort order changes what you see. A server topping the list by current players may be empty at the weekend, so try Rank for a steadier signal, then Name or Last wipe if you are comparing schedules. The search box matches words in the server name, which is useful for tags like solo, EU or vanilla.
For the wider picture, the A to Z server list carries every mode on one page. If you want to know when the monthly reset lands in your own time zone, see the force wipe countdown. Live totals across the whole index sit on the player count page.
