Official Rust servers
This is the index of official Rust servers: entries from the game's Official tab, run by Facepunch or partner networks. Filed here with live player counts, wipe estimates and group limits, refreshed every five minutes. The table narrows by any filter you set; see also the full list for community and modded entries. Last checked: live.

64.40.9.70:28018EUmonthlyA note on the columns. Group shows a number only when a server sets a limit below Rust's default of eight; a blank cell means the default applies. Next wipe is an estimate from each server's recent pattern, not a promise. Official servers mostly wipe monthly, on the first Thursday at 19:00 UK time for Facepunch's force wipe; partner servers often pick their own weekday. Population clusters in Europe, so queues are longest on EU servers in the European evening. Sort by players to see the busiest first, or by wipe to plan a fresh start. Questions
4 enquiries on file, answered by the catalogue.
Enquiry 01Are official Rust servers vanilla?
Most are. The majority carry Rust's vanilla tag and leave gather rates unstated, which usually means 1x. A minority list themselves as modded, and that shows in the tags column. Official means run by Facepunch or an approved partner, not necessarily untouched.
Enquiry 02How often is this official server list updated?
Player counts, wipe estimates and settings are refreshed every five minutes. The last-checked time is shown with the table. An entry stays listed while the server is online in the Official tab; if it drops out, it is removed at the next refresh.
Enquiry 03What does a blank Group column mean?
It means the server does not set a team limit below Rust's default of eight, so a full team is allowed. A number in the column shows a lower cap, which matters if you play solo or duo. Check the column before you commit to a wipe.
Enquiry 04When do official Rust servers wipe?
Facepunch's force wipe clears every map on the first Thursday of the month at 19:00 UK time. Partner servers usually follow their own schedule, often monthly on a set weekday. The Next wipe column gives an estimate based on each server's recent pattern; treat it as a guide, not a guarantee.
Official is not a single thing. Facepunch runs some of these servers directly; others belong to partner networks that keep close to vanilla settings but set their own team limits and wipe rhythms. The table records what each entry declares, not what it promises. If you want untouched settings, filter for the vanilla tag; if you want a smaller team cap, the Group column is where to look. For side-by-side rankings by play style, see the best-server index, PvE, vanilla and new-player pages. Every server has its own entry; open one from the table for its full record.
